President Maduro thanks his Uzbek counterpart for recognition of the 28J elections

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, thanked the Government of Uzbekistan, under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, for the congratulations of the Government of Uzbekistan, after the victory in the elections of last July 28.

“From Venezuela, we thank the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, for his recognition of the democratic process that we Venezuelans experienced in the past #28Jul. We are guarantors of the sovereignty of the peoples of the new world,” said the Head of State through his account on the social network X.

Mirziyoyev sent a letter celebrating the re-election of President Maduro and stating that he is “sure that thanks to our joint efforts, practical cooperation between our two nations will continue to develop dynamically”.

In the letter, the President of Uzbekistan wished his Venezuelan counterpart “good health, family happiness and great success in responsible state activities, and to the people of Venezuela peace and prosperity.”
