President Maduro: The country's industrial activity grew 56.4% during the first two months of the year

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during the “productive Wednesday” activity, assured that the nation's industrial activity grew 56.4% during the first two months of the year.

During the Metal, Iron, Steel and Aluminum Expo 2024, held in the state of Bolívar, he specified that this is a “ very impactful and positive indicator of productive commercial and economic activity”.

He also said that inflation closed at 1.2% in February, “lower than in the month of January, projecting a very important figure of 75% at this time for annualized inflation; which would be the lowest inflation in 12 years of economic life.”

The National President indicated that these numbers were achieved “with his own efforts”, despite being “sanctioned, blocked and persecuted, without 3 million barrels of export at 100 dollars each. We would say so!”
