President Maduro: The country's peace, prosperity and transformation must be done from every territory

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed this Wednesday that it is from the base of each territory of Venezuela that peace, prosperity and the transformation of the country must be guaranteed for the consolidation of a better future.

“If you want peace, defend it in your territory, exercise your sovereignty in your territory; if you want substantial changes that improve the country, let's achieve those substantial changes in every territory, in every community, every street, every neighborhood (...) if we want things to change for the better and for the better, and for the country to consolidate its path of prosperity that we are building, let's make the changes where people live,” said the Head of State.

Also, during the installation of the National Electoral Commission for the election of justices of the peace, he reaffirmed that it is only with the Revolution that these changes can be made possible because today in Venezuela the people rule and not the elites.

In this regard, he also said that “the time of elites manipulating political power, public powers and institutions of the country is a past history, today we have independent public powers and when I say independent, I mean independent of the mafia oligarchies, independent of the mafia and the gringos”.

He pointed out that in Venezuela the Public Powers “are in the hands of professional men and women of the people of the highest level”, unlike in Argentina, which, for example, is controlled by the extreme right of the oligarchy and the United States.

For this reason, he reaffirmed that only great changes for peace and development in Venezuela can be achieved in Revolution.
