President Maduro: The ego of surnames and colonialism does not allow him to accept that they are going to lose to a humble people

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, denounced the campaign that a campaign is being broadcast from the major media and social networks to make the reality of Venezuela invisible.

“In the world they make us invisible, in the world those who manage the so-called big media and social networks deform Venezuelan reality, manipulate Venezuela,” he said.

During a meeting with international companions who come to the country to participate in the electoral process this Sunday, the head of state indicated that despite these actions they have not been able to prevent the Venezuelan people from moving forward despite the sanctions and blockades imposed against the country.

“They couldn't handle us in any way, but they have so much ego and so much colonialist pride that they don't accept that they're going to lose. The ego and pride of surnames and colonialism in the West cannot accept that they are going to lose to a humble people that resisted and that will crown their resistance with a victory,” he said, referring to the results that will take place this Sunday in the presidential election.
