President Maduro: The mafias that control the drug trafficking business in Colombia operate in the United States

This Monday, August 24, in his program With Maduro+, the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, denounced that “in the United States (USA) there are mafias that control the entire drug trafficking business in Colombia, in America.”

“They know it, but they changed the story,” he said, while urging the U.S. government to set about freeing the North American nation from drug use, before dedicating itself to attacking Venezuela.

He recalled that former Colombian presidents Álvaro Uribe and Juan Manuel Santos “served as an instrument for gringos” to establish seven military bases in the territory of the New Granada nation.

In this regard, he insisted that “the United States must first cure its society, the largest society that consumes all types of drugs in the world”, and specified that, according to the report of the United Nations (UN), Venezuela is a territory free of coca leaf plantations”, thus overthrowing the campaign that imperialism is trying to position against the Venezuelan nation.
