The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, once again denounced the hegemonic intentions of the North American empire, which believes it is living a “time of new colonies and supremacy” over the Peoples of Latin America.

In that scenario, he absolutely rejected the vision of the White House, which expects “praise to a superior race that governs North America”.

This was emphasized at the Teatro Bolívar, where he led the day of the Extraordinary Plenary of the Fifth Congress of the PSUV and the Fourth of the JPSUV.

He asserted that the colonial intention clashes with the conscience and history of Venezuela. “We Venezuelans are not going to take away our dignity,” he said.

In this regard, he ratified the unwavering position of the Bolivarian Revolution, regarding the defense of sovereignty, self-determination and national dignity as inalienable principles.

“Today the dichotomy is between independence or colony, between slavery and freedom, between dignity and humiliation,” he said.

The head of state stressed that the current struggle is focused on ensuring the existence and self-determination of the People, “There is no right to die,” he said.

He reiterated that the path chosen by the Bolivarian Revolution for the vast majority of the population, “is independence, freedom and dignity for the path of our Venezuelan homeland, for everyone, Venezuelans.”
