President Maduro: The PSUV is a force, an institution for all time

The president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, said that the red curtain is a force, an institution for all time.

“We have a historic dilemma facing the nation, declaring that freedom, dignity and independence have no alternative for the Venezuelan people. We have a bold dichotomy , which is the current struggle: between independence or colony, between slavery and freedom, between dignity and humiliation,” he said.

He explained that, although the historical slogan was “Homeland or Death”, the current struggle focuses on ensuring the existence and self-determination of the people: “There is no right to die. The Revolution option is, without ambiguity, the only possible one.”

He added that “the PSUV and the JPSUV are a powerful Bolivarian and revolutionary movement of the 21st century, which now bears the immense responsibility for the independence of Venezuela and the existence of Latin America and the Caribbean, as a community of independent States, in a phase of construction and development towards the future”
