President Maduro: The PSUV is the solid vanguard of the Bolivarian Revolution

The president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro Moros, assured that “the PSUV is the solid vanguard of the Bolivarian revolution.”

This was stated at the close of the Plenary of the V Congress of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and IV of the Youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (JPSUV) held in the city of Caracas.

He stated that “this political movement has played a stellar role at all electoral junctures (...) I would like to see the face of some who criticize Venezuelan democracy and our republican form and our revolutionary model when I tell them that out of 32 elections in 26 years we have won 30, by the middle street, with an increasingly conscious people that is always renewing itself and that has built a powerful popular machinery of conscience and values”.

“This congress allows us to have a space where our historical movement measures itself with honesty, courage and a lot of historical awareness and can collectively give birth to the lines of action that correspond to our philosophy and show us the victorious path in the face of the threats where we will be today and tomorrow,” he said.

He pointed out that the Bolivarian revolution is in itself an unprecedented process and has a trajectory, all of which is marked by the capacity for self-creation. “Our revolution broke all paradigms,” he said.
