The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, when handing over the spaces of the San Carlos Barracks, which will be starting this Monday, October 27, the national headquarters of the Great Mission Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida, said that “it is to be the house of freedom and culture.”
This was stated during his program Con Maduro+, broadcast number 95, where he asserted that those spaces of the Barracks, “have a lot to say and express, here too, in these cells over there, there was our Commander Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías and (members) of the Bolivarian Revolutionary Movement 200.”
“Here we are at the foot of the sacred mountain of Waraira Repano. This is an extraordinary point for remembrance, memory, cultural combat and above all for the expression of this powerful Great Mission Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida,” he said.
In addition, the head of state, referring to Generation Z, said that it is an invention of international corporations for color revolutions.
In that regard, he emphasized that in Venezuela this group is called “Generación Genial”, which represents geniuses for music, art, culture, science and leadership.
For his part, the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, stated that “the only word we have to say is: Thank you, Mr. President and to Minister Márquez's team, and to Admiral Carmen Meléndez”.
He assured that the San Carlos Barracks will be used for the center of peace, culture and life, to clear the specter of war and threats against Venezuela and to generate a future of inclusion for all equally.
He stressed that the Bolivarian Government aims to hold the next Venezuelan International Book Fair and the International Crafts Fair in the venue, due to the large areas offered by the Barracks.
