The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, has denounced plans for a coup against the country by the extremist sector.

“They are trying to impose in Venezuela a coup d'etat once again of a fascist and counterrevolutionary nature. I could call him a kind of Guaidó 2.0,” he said during the Act of Proclamation as President-Elect of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for the period 2025-2031.

He pointed out that the actors are the same ones who want to plague their hatred in the face of a new democratic defeat given to him by the People.

“But I tell the plotters, to those involved that we already know the film but hate will prevail in Venezuela,” he said.
