President Maduro: This People Have the Right to Peace, Security and Tranquility

This Wednesday, January 22, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that the people of Venezuela have the right to live in peace, security and tranquility.

“This People and Homeland have the right to peace, security and tranquility; this combat is multifaceted,” said the Head of State during the Start of the Bolivarian Shield Military Exercises 2025.

In this regard, he reaffirmed that for this purpose, all systems of execution, planning, balancing, monitoring and refinement must be perfected. “Learning every day and everything that needs to be solved,” he said.

Consequently, he reported that the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, will provide corresponding information on security matters in the next few hours, “related to the fight against criminal groups financed with drugs from Colombia.”

He said that he is related to one of the criminal cadres that for years has been protected from Colombia by Alvaro Uribe Vélez.
