President Maduro: This year the big goal has to be to go to 100% schooling

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, stated that after the start of the new educational period, the goal should be to reach 100% of schooling and the transformation of education in the country.
During the 61st broadcast of his show Con Maduro+, the Head of State recalled that in the fourth Republic the level of schooling did not reach 50%. “Commander Chávez made a strong start on the educational issue and persevered and today we can say that we have gone from 40% of semi-privatized public education to 84% of public education, within the framework of free public education in Venezuela,” he said.
In this regard, the Dignitary stressed that “this school year the main goal has to be to go to 100% schooling, with five days of classes in all education and also the quality revolution, a great transformation of Venezuelan education to update it to the needs of 21st century society.”
“The greatest thing we can do in our lives is education, example, training, the values of girls and boys is the most beautiful thing there is, it's what transcends, it's what's left for Venezuela,” he emphasized.
