President Maduro: This year we are going to the FEVEU and FEVEEM University Youth Congress

In his Monday program With Maduro+, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro announced that “this year we are going to the Congress of University Youth of the FEVEU (Venezuelan Federation of University Students) and the FEVEEM (Venezuelan Federation of Middle Education Students).

In this regard, he specified that “a process has been taking place since university youth, in high schools, of renewal and strengthening of student power. A power based on awareness, on mobilization, on the necessary motivation”.

For his part, the Minister of Popular Power for University Education, Ricardo Sánchez, added that “there is hope in the new student generation (...) we have a student movement that reaffirms its identity and its objective of struggle, from class assemblies. In past generations, this was unthinkable.”
