President Maduro: Times of Prosperity, Democracy and Freedom Are Coming for Venezuela

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, said that for Venezuela henceforth what is coming are times of blessings, prosperity, progress, democracy and freedom.

“Decree a time of prosperity for Venezuela, of sovereignty, he assured in the People's Balcony in the Miraflores Palace, where he received the mobilization of the revolutionary people, on the occasion of the commemoration of the 67th Anniversary of the Popular Insurrection of January 23, 1958, which marked the overthrow of the dictatorship of Marcos Pérez Jiménez.

He emphasized that the effort he has made to keep Venezuela free and democratic has been beautiful. “We have made ourselves respected by the whole world, Venezuela, today, they respect it,” he said.

“What we are going to do in the months and years to come will generate the greatest admiration of the Peoples of planet Earth for this People, a worthy heir to the glories of Bolivar,” he stressed.

In addition, the head of state urged revolutionaries not to waste time with members of the fascist extremist right, “let's focus on our historical time, we are in a time of victory”.

“Long live the people of Venezuela. Long live Bolivar, long live Chávez, long live Fabricio Ojeda,” he said.
