The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, during the Militia Community Units, deployed in the five thousand 336 Community Circuits distributed throughout the national territory, warned that the attempt at regime change in Venezuela and other nations of South America and the Caribbean by the United States is a historic mistake to which the Donald Trump administration could succumb.

“I tell President Donald Trump, from Caracas la bella, from Venezuela the peaceful one, the attempt of some of his officials are making for regime change in Venezuela, again it's a mistake, they intend to set up a false file with the subject of drug trafficking to attack an entire country, and to qualify the institutionality of an entire country, is to try to cover up with a dirty Hollywood-like file, which divides between good and bad, where the bad guys are always the Latinos and the good ones are the Gringos to seek a plan for regime change,” he warned from the historic headquarters of the Military Academy of the Bolivarian Army,

He added that “the United States must abandon its plan for violent regime change throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, and respect the sovereignty and right to peace, the independence won by our Liberators.”
