After appearing before the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Friday urged his counterpart from Panama, José Raúl Mulino, not to meddle in the internal affairs of Venezuela.
“President of Panama, I will try to learn his name, but whoever messes with Venezuela dries up. Govern Panama, which is a pressure cooker, and don't try to govern Venezuela, whoever messes with us is doing badly,” said the Head of State from the Supreme Court.
He also referred to the change in attitude of the Panamanian government following the visit of the head of the Command or the South, Laura Richardson, to that country.
“They invited us to his inauguration and he sent a message that will count on him, which was cool, that we were going to resume relations with Panama, but a small detail, was visited by the Head of the Southern Command (...) from there he came out in a hurry and convened a Summit of Latin America and the Caribbean,” he said.
Faced with this, he pointed out that Murillo, without having consolidated that Summit, has already failed, because “if they let himself be carried away by the gringos, he started off on the wrong foot (...) but I hope it will go well for him”, he stressed.
