During the opening ceremony of the headquarters of the Great Venezuela Youth Mission, within the framework of the International Youth Day, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, expressed to young people the need to remain deployed in the streets and win the battle on social networks.

“Winning in the streets and winning in the networks, not the other way around”, while confirming that instruction is “youth in the streets, in the networks, in the media and on the walls, winning real truth and virtual truth,” he explained.

He stressed that in the virtual environment, people's minds change, “some people who hate, less and less, you hadn't seen the face of fascism, you had listened to the elderly”.

He confirmed that the extremist right “came to kill” and recalled when during the electoral campaign he commented that if the extreme right won the Presidential Election, “in Venezuela there could be a bloodbath, because we had already experienced it, our generation experienced it several times.”

In this regard, he stressed that both in the country and on the international scene they manipulated the aforementioned comment, “I have never threatened, we are pacifists, humanists, Christians”.

“On Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st, what the extremist right did was threaten youth. If they had been able to turn on the country, we didn't leave them nor could they, they would have gone to kill thousands and thousands, because that was the plan, that's why they hired criminals,” he said.
