President Maduro: UN system only serves to persecute popular leaders and independent countries

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, during his program With Maduro+, emphasized that the United Nations system is designed to persecute leaders identified with Peoples and independent countries.

“The United Nations system is unfortunately exhausted because it has reached the point of being subject to the imposition of rules of neofascism, it seems that the highest authorities of the UN system, whether called Volker Türk or the International Criminal Court, only serve to persecute leaders and independent countries, but they don't work when the powerful of the north kidnap, bomb, kill or shoot down innocent peoples,” he said,

The President warned that, given the inaction demonstrated on repeated occasions, the United Nations system “is at a point of collapse”, so he insisted on the importance of strongly regaining respect by all countries for international law and human rights.
