This Friday, January 19, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced that he will soon organize a meeting with the Working Class of Venezuela, with the objective of evaluating and establishing the short, medium and long-term plans of this sector, which is still firmly driving the economy and growth of the country.
“We have to meet soon, I want a meeting with the movements of the Working Class, so that we can see the 2024-2030 path, and along the way to see what the short-term objectives are (...), the medium-term objectives 2026-2027 and the long-term objectives, 2030,” said the National President in telephone contact.
In this regard, during the Guyana Working Class Proclamation in support of President Nicolás Maduro, he stressed that these meetings must be attended by the entire Working Class of the country, including grassroots leaders, youth, women, all sectors.
He also indicated that these meetings should be considered within the framework of “a dynamic of collective reflection, effective action and a deeper and more efficient organization”.
The National Executive also took the opportunity to extend its gratitude to the Working Class for all the support it always gives to the Bolivarian Government. “In the most difficult conditions we have ever had, we have come out ahead because we have the support of the Working Class, there aware, organized, active and alive,” he said.
