President Maduro: Venezuela has more than 5 thousand Igla-S in key positions to guarantee peace

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Wednesday, October 22, specified that for the defense and protection of sovereignty and the national territory, he has more than 5 thousand Igla-S (surface-to-air missile system), in the key positions of anti-aircraft defense to guarantee peace, stability and tranquility.”

“The Igla-S is one of the most powerful weapons there is, any military force in the world (...) knows the power of the Igla-S. There are more than 5 thousand and the ranch is burning,” he emphasized.

In that sense, he said that “whoever understood, understood”.

He explained that “these simulation equipment places us in a position of good aim for thousands of Igla-S operators that we have even in the last mountain, even in the last town and city, that you can't even imagine in Venezuelan territory. From North to South, from East to West.”

This was stated at the event of the relaunch of the Great Mission “Black First”, at the facilities of the General Military High School of the Sovereign People Ezequiel Zamora, as part of the OBRATÓN infrastructure plan and for the strengthening of the Plan of the 7 Transformations (7T) of the Bolivarian Government.

He also highlighted the improvement and repair of mortars by Venezuelan military technicians and scientists, “good news, Venezuelan minds and soldiers (...) anti-drones, I don't say more, we are showing the puntica”.
