President Maduro: Venezuela is linked to the BRICS

The Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, assured, on Monday night, June 17, that Venezuela is affiliated with the BRICS.

This was stated in his Con Maduro+ program , developed at the headquarters of the Siderurgica del Orinoco “Alfredo Maneiro” SIDOR C.A., located in the industrial area of Matanzas in Ciudad Guayana, Bolivar state.

He reported that “the respective contracts have already been signed, so that very soon BRICS investments will arrive, on a large scale, with technology, market, exercising our economic sovereignty.”

He added that for the economic recovery Venezuela obtained investments. “Contracts have been signed with BRICS countries, the emerging world, and in the short term we will have investments, technologies and new markets for all our companies and make our companies more powerful and consolidate them.”

He added that “the CVG provides the country with millions per month, that's the model, and that serves social investment, recouping with BRICOMILES, schools and hospitals, to build housing and sustain workers' incomes at the national level.

Guyana is hope and the alternative, we hold the reins of the economy in my hands, today stronger than ever.”
