President Maduro: Venezuela is the vanguard in the fight against fascism and neo-Nazi currents

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, during the meeting of the National Defense Council and the Council of State, assured that Venezuela is the vanguard in the fight against fascism and neo-Nazi currents.

From the Sucre Hall of the Yellow House, headquarters of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, the president highlighted the role of the Bolivarian nation in the fight against the attempt to impose a new colonialism, and assured that the alternatives are very clear: colonialism and slavery or independence and freedom.

In that sense, he assured that behind all the violent events that have occurred in Venezuela is the power of billions of dollars, “everything that has been prepared behind it is the power of the United States (...) behind it is the attempt to defeat some of the most beautiful projects that have been developed from the heroic historical root (the Bolivarian project of socialism of the 21st century).

“Here in Venezuela, the fascist neo-Nazi project of hate, revenge and violence that wanted to bring us to a situation of civil war and confrontation, of foreign intervention, of a coup d'etat and division among Venezuelans is the expression of the neocolonial and fascist project that the elites intend to impose in the world,” the president denounced.

The meeting is accompanied by the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez; the political and military high command, the different sectoral vice-presidents of the government, the Attorney General, Tarek William Saab; the Ombudsman, Alfredo Ruiz.
