President Maduro: Venezuela supports Colombia in its fight for peace

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, asserted that the country supports Colombia in its fight for peace. “ They will always have our comprehensive support to build a region of peace and unity.”

This was stated from the People's Balcony, in the Miraflores Palace, in his words offered to those present who participated in the Bolivarian Shield 2025 mobilization and regarding the commemoration of a new anniversary of the Popular Rebellion of January 23 and added that “ they will always have our comprehensive support to build a region of peace and union”.

He pointed out that “from Venezuela they will always have comprehensive support for peace and building a Colombia and a Venezuela of union and prosperity in El Libertador Simón Bolívar.”

The Head of State added that the President of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, reported this Thursday through social networks that he is in contact with the Bolivarian Government to develop a joint strategy to improve the security of border territories, and eradicate armed groups present in that area.
