President Maduro: Venezuela will be an economic powerhouse in South America!

This Wednesday, March 13, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted that the Bolivarian Revolution works and dreams together with the People and all the sectors that make life in the country to turn Venezuela into a great power for South America.

“The Revolution must be a projection of the future, an extraordinary acceleration of our history, in the words of Enzo Traverso. Let's dream of that future, a splendorous one of diversification, of wealth creation and Venezuela will be, because it will be an economic power in South America for the world, a power that produces food, technology, energy, that produces everything,” said the National Executive during the inauguration of the Expo Metal, Iron, Steel and Aluminum 2024.

He also indicated that it also seeks to produce wealth, but with equality. “Because it can't be a just society where many have a lot or a few have many and many have nothing,” he said.

At the same time, he pointed out that the inequality that today is being tried to overcome in Venezuela is the product of economic war and sanctions; for this reason, he mentioned the efforts being made with the Great Missions of the New Generation and the social investment in health, education, etc., to transcend that stage.

In this regard, he recalled that in order to carry out these actions, on January 15, 2022, he launched an advanced concept that was the “New Era of Transition to Socialism and with that concept we rode 2023, we ride 2022".

He stressed that the five consensuses were later added to this concept, with the objective of continuing to deepen actions for the recovery of the Venezuelan power.
