President Maduro: Venezuela's successful participation in the 7th China Import Fair

This Thursday, November 14, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted that the successful participation of the Venezuelan Delegation in Shanghai to participate in the 7th China International Import Fair, which highlights “what the new world of the 21st century is”.

“Today the economic center of the world is in Asia and particularly the world's economic engine: trade, investment, finance are in technology, precisely in China, which is why Shanghai is the most important economic fair today on Planet Earth,” he highlighted in his radio space Con Maduro Live de Repente.

Regarding the event in China, the Minister of People's Power for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Carlos Loyo, stated that the most important meeting that “humanity had during the month of November was that fair in Shanghai”.

He noted that the fair was attended by all countries interested in bringing their products to China, “we are talking about more than 120 nations that brought products, 1,400 exhibitors present, 74 nations had stands and Venezuela was one of those countries with stands.”

“For us to have the magnitude of the economic importance of what this event was, of the 500 top companies in the world, 197 were present there,” he said.

For her part, the president of the Marca País Foundation, Daniella Cabello, said that “what she experienced at the stand in Venezuela was magical, due to the number of people who came to the stand.”

“In addition, we were the only delegation within the country pavilion, which had its businessmen there and a very significant number of businessmen who joined and participated with us in the event,” he said.

He highlighted that “there were long queues at the stand in Venezuela, who wanted to try our products. We served about 400 to 500 cups of coffee a day, they tried our chocolate, they asked about cocoa and they loved our products.”
