President Maduro: We are starting a year to continue building our common home and the Great Homeland

This Wednesday, January 15, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, in his annual message to the nation, assured that “we are starting a year to continue building the common case and the Great Paria.”

From the Ríos Reyna room of the Teresa Carreño Theater, the Head of State addressed the People of Venezuela and asserted that it must be a year marked by encounter, reunion, word, dialogue and, above all, coexistence, tolerance and peace.

“It must be a year marked because we meet often to continue refining our common dreams and plans and to continue building with our efforts the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,” he said.

The Head of State said that offering the annual message to the nation in front of so many good women and men is a good idea. “To speak out in front of so many sectors that unite the diversity of our country is wonderful. Yes, we can see each other's faces and recognize ourselves as we are doing today and have done all these days. We have a country in peace and tranquility because we have defeated hatred, intolerance, we have defeated the coup and fascism. That victory belongs to all of Venezuela. They couldn't handle the crazy ideas and plans to bring us into the chaos of violence. We have consolidated the peace for now and forever”
