President Maduro: We have a popular-military-police merger ready to defend peace

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during the 75th broadcast of the program “With Maduro+”, assured that 23 years after the coup d'etat and popular countercoup, Venezuela and the Bolivarian Revolution have a consolidated popular military police merger.

“23 years after the volcanic telluric force of the People of Venezuela was put to the test, we were another people, more innocent, the new consciousness was barely budding and there was little talk of Popular Power, it was a popular revolutionary movement in its infancy and it was intended to give a blow and it was received by them, imperialism and the extreme right coup, today 23 years later we have a popular, military and police fusion, prepared, ready and ready to defend the right to peace, stability and defend the right to peace, stability and defend constitutionality and the People,” said the head of state.

In this regard, he highlighted the heroic strength of the Venezuelan in his defense of democracy in the face of the April 2002 coup d'etat: “It was the miracle of defeating a media coup that sought to impose itself from outside against the people of Venezuela. Forgetting is forbidden!.”

He recalled that those who kidnapped Commander Hugo Chávez did not have and gave the order to kill him. “The People and the humble soldiers saved him and our People rescued him in 47 hours, a world record.
