President Maduro: We Triumphed to Build the Homeland and Opportunities for All

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, argued that for the brutal attack against Venezuelan youth and families, the extremist right spent “billions of dollars, and I'm not exaggerating, on cyberwar.”

He stressed that, just as in 2012, “we defeated them when they owned all the television stations, radios and newspapers. 22 years later, this generation has defeated the cyber coup d'etat by fascist and criminal networks.”

He made the statement at the opening ceremony of the headquarters of the Great Venezuela Youth Mission, within the framework of the International Youth Day, where he specified that “now we must consolidate the space gained because we are triumphing to build the Homeland and opportunities for all.”

“We succeeded in developing the great plans for the future. Today, in the present, we have the Great Young Venezuela Mission, with its seven vertices,” he said.
