This Friday, December 12, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, argued that there is an emergence of a multipolar world, without colonialism, where there is an intense struggle of models between the search for independence, freedom, as well as world harmony, cooperation, and on the other hand, those who claim to be owners, rulers and emperors of the world.

In this scenario, he pointed out that in Venezuela, following the gigantic historical tradition, initiated by the indigenous resistance of Guaicaipura, and completed by Simón Bolívar, “we are in the world of those who want to be independent, free and we oppose all forms of colonialism and slavery.”

“Free forever. Free”, emphasized in the Altos Mirandinos during the 1st Anniversary ceremony of the National University of Sciences Doctor Humberto Fernández - Morán.

In his presentation, the head of state gave a brief historical account of the evolution of man and the world.

“We can say with great humility, with great respect for human diversity, that the history of the People of Venezuela is an admirable story,” he said.

He reaffirmed that “we should be proud to be Venezuelans”.
