The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, said that the massive march of the working class on the occasion of the celebration of May 1, International Labor Day, dedicated to the release of the girl Maikelys Espinoza, kidnapped by the United States government, “is a demonstration of love, of national unity, of street force.”
“This is how the people of Venezuela are respected in the face of the criminal empire,” he emphasized.
The head of state mentioned various areas of Caracas, commenting that they were “from end to end, more than a million workers and women workers in the street shouting freedom, freedom for our girl”.
“United on the street, we are also present accompanying the mother of little Maikelys and her family,” he said.
He stressed that María Corina Machado “has asked that Venezuelans be persecuted, captured in the streets and stigmatized, that they all be linked to the Aragua Train, which is a band that went extinct in Venezuela. It no longer exists.”
“Leopoldo López, Juan Guaidó, María Corina Machado, Julio Borges, Antonio Ledezma, Juan Pablo Guanipa are primarily responsible for imposing the narrative that Venezuelan migrants in the United States were criminals of the Aragua Train,” he said.
