This Monday, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, warned that an aggression against Venezuela by the United States would mark the beginning of a “catastrophic war” for the region, so he reiterated his call for a de-escalation of these warrior plans.
“Through a false narrative driven by immorals and patriots from Miami, an attempt is made to impose a state of violence in the Caribbean, in South America, and it threatens to escalate to a catastrophic war because aggression against Venezuela would be the beginning of a catastrophic war,” he warned.
In this regard, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, pointed out that within the framework of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), the leaders and representatives of Caribbean nations expressed their concern about this alleged war escalation of the United States against Venezuela.
He also highlighted the various expressions of support that the Venezuelan Government has received from leaders across the region in the face of threats from U.S. imperialism.
