President Nicolás Maduro: Bolivarian Popular Democracy is being strengthened in Venezuela

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that the Venezuelan popular democracy model has endured countless betrayals and threats because it has a true country project, with deep Bolivarian roots.

“And we, together with Commander Chávez, created this project, developed in all its stages, overcome all conspiracies, blows, sanctions, threats and betrayals, overcoming sanction after sanction, threat after threat, because we are real and we have a project with deep roots and we are the incarnation of the liberators of the Fatherland,” he said.

During the evaluation meeting for the second National Popular Consultation, he reiterated that Commander Chávez was the master of love, of loyalty, of the Patria Grande project and who proposed Bolivarian popular democracy as a system of government.
