President Nicolás Maduro met with the Chinese ambassador to Venezuela, Lan Hu

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, held a meeting in Caracas with the Chinese ambassador to the country, Lan Hu, with the objective of strengthening the cooperation of both nations based on the respect and development of Peoples.

During the meeting, the authorities reviewed the cooperation map that unites both peoples and reiterated their commitment to continue consolidating ties of brotherhood and alliances for the direct benefit of sovereign development and peace.

Last Monday, October 6, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, met with the representative of China, to strengthen strategic alliances. At the diplomatic meeting, the vice-president extended her congratulations to the Asian nation for the celebration of the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival.

The strategic alliance between Caracas and Beijing, which already includes more than 600 bilateral agreements, includes areas of economic, technological, energy and social development. Under the motto “At Every Test and Every Time”, both nations seek to strengthen the Global South and jointly face the challenges imposed by imperial threats.
