President Nicolás Maduro orders deepening social programs for older adults

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, ordered to speed up the days of support for the Great Mission of Grandparents and Grandmothers of the Fatherland, as part of the set of commitments assumed with this sector of Venezuelan society.

“We are going to accelerate and deepen the work!” Regarding the initiative, he reported that “we already have all the materials for the Smile Mission, the Miracle Mission and the hearing aids,” said the Head of State.

He thanked that the greatest guarantee of peace, independence and democracy that Venezuela has is the people organized, mobilized and empowered because the streets belong to the people and peace, not to the surnames, not to the oligarchy, not to the fascists, not to the terrorists,” he said-

“I am very happy that you have mobilized,” he told the grandparents and grandmothers from the Miraflores Palace where he received a march of elderly people who came to reiterate their support.
