The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Friday, April 5, at night, received a visit from the religious and academic leader of Kenya, David Edward Owuor, at the Miraflores Palace.

The activity, reported by Venezolana de Televisión, points out that during the meeting the evangelical leader told the national president that “it was a very special day here, the Lord sent me here”, while valuing the work that the Venezuelan head of state has done for the country.

The meeting is part of his spiritual visit to Venezuela, where he plans to carry out a work agenda in Caracas and cities in the interior of the country.

In this regard, he specifies that there have been days led by Owuor: a National Conference of Pastors and Ministers of the Gospel at the Renacer Cathedral, located in the parish of La Candelaria, which took place on April 4 and 5.

For this Saturday, April 6, Owuor is expected to lead a day of healing and miracles in Plaza Diego Ibarra; it will be followed by Puerto Ordaz between April 7 and 10; and then headline events in Cumaná (April 11 and 15), in Barinas (16 to 19) and follow Maracay from April 20 to 24.

Owuor has an extensive academic background, is a molecular geneticist from Kenya, began with a degree in chemical engineering sciences and continued with a master's degree and doctorates at several universities around the world.
