President Nicolás Maduro: The CNE is the only authority that organizes the electoral process

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, recalled that the National Electoral Council (CNE) is the “only authority that does the calculations, organizes the process, does the audits and that in due course produces the commercial results that are the law of the Republic and that will be recognized and respected.”

The head of state said that in “Venezuela there is a Fifth Power, which is the Electoral Power taken from the idea of Bolivar, from the Moral Power that Bolivar spoke of”.

He also pointed out that in Venezuela “there will be peaceful elections, there will be free actions, there will be results, there will be recognition, there will be celebration, there will be peace and there will be a future (...) no one will be able to tarnish the process.”

Finally, he pointed out that July 28 arrived and they will not be able to avoid what is written, the general will of the People.
