President Nicolás Maduro welcomed Russian Science Vessel

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, welcomed the Ocean Science Vessel “Admiral Vladimirsky” of the Baltic Fleet of the Russian Federation, which arrived this Sunday at the Port of La Guaira.

The head of state was received by the crew, with honors corresponding to his inauguration, and during the tour of the ship, the head of state signed the visitors' book, in which he wrote a dedication to President Vladimir Putin and the Russian people, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Victory Day, of the Great Patriotic War against Nazism, which is commemorated on May 9

Also, during his visit to this vessel, the President highlighted the ties of friendship and military technical cooperation that exist between the two nations.

“We thank you for your visit to reaffirm the path of joint work between the Russian and Venezuelan military forces. The seas of Venezuela are open for cooperation with Russia for the construction of a new world,” said the President, while stressing that both nations are working to achieve peace and independence for peoples.
