The president of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Luis Arce, denounced, before the international community, the attack of the Donald Trump administration against Venezuela in the Caribbean Sea, which violates international law.

“We observe with concern and denounce to the international community the deployment of military forces and the carrying out of operations in the Caribbean Sea by the United States,” wrote the president on the social network X.

In addition, Arce opined that this action is an act of flagrant violation of International Law, the United States government confirmed that it ordered the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to carry out 'covert operations' in Venezuela.

“As if that weren't enough, American bomber planes flew over the Caribbean Sea at the limits of Venezuelan territory, in a clear act of intimidation,” he said, adding that “they are not deceiving anyone; this is not a war on drugs, they are interventionist actions that violate national sovereignty.”

In this regard, he alerted the world to the danger of a military escalation affecting peace and stability in all of Latin America and the Caribbean. This territory is and must remain a Zone of Peace!” , he stressed.

The United States has attacked several vessels that Washington claims were transporting drugs - in international waters near Venezuela, operations that have cost the lives of approximately thirty people.
