President of China said that no one will be able to break the link with Taiwan (+New Year)

This Tuesday, December 31, the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, said in his New Year's message 2025 that unity with Taiwan will prevail, in addition to the fact that the economy of the Asian giant has recovered and is following an upward trajectory.

The president, during his speech at the New Year's Tea Party of the National Committee of the People's Political Consultative Conference, warned that no one can stop the reunification of the mainland with the island of Taiwan. “Chinese people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait belong to the same family. No one can ever break the kinship bond between us.”

He also emphasized that Beijing has managed to respond to external and internal impacts, while adopting a wide range of policies for development.

“The economic functioning has, in general, been stable and progressive, high-quality development has been solidly promoted, important advances have been made in scientific and technological innovation, and productivity of new quality has been firmly developed. GDP is expected to grow by around 5% for the whole year,” said Xi Jinping.
