President of Colombia denounced that the United States has turned the Caribbean into a zone of aggression and colonization

The President of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, denounced that the United States (USA) has transformed the Caribbean into an area of colonization and aggression, following the accusation made this Thursday by Venezuela about the detection of combat aircraft by the US Armed Forces 75 kilometers off the Venezuelan coast.

*They have converted the Caribbean from a zone of peace, as agreed with the United States, into a zone of aggression and colonization. The consequences of these events will be negative in the short term and in the long term of history,” Petro wrote in his account on the social network X.

The Venezuelan government, for its part, has announced that it will file a complaint with the Security Council of the United Nations (UN) and other international entities.

Petro said that the Colombian Army “on the other hand today (this Thursday) caused seven attacks on the armed group of (Iván) 'Bite' in the Amazon without the need for diplomatic aggressions”
