President of Cuba to the People: Infinite thanks for heroism in the face of the barbarism of economic war

Through the social network X, the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, highlighted the gallantry of the People during the year 2024 in the face of the economic war and the criminal blockade that continues on the nation, as part of the celebration of the Revolution on January 1.

“Infinite thanks for the heroism in the face of the barbarism of the economic war being waged against us. Let us remember the year that is ending, not because of obstacles and deficiencies. Let's remember that because we all beat them together. Congratulations Cuba,” said the president.

Cubans celebrate the 66th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution and the liberation of the town by Rebel Army forces, on December 29, 1958.

The Cuban Revolution triumphed on January 1, 1959, under the leadership of the historic leader Fidel Castro, and with it began a process of transformations to change the economic and social bases, with the human being at the center of development.
