The president of the Federation of Chambers and Associations of Commerce and Production of Venezuela (FEDECÁMARAS), Felipe Capozzolo, invited the public sector this Thursday to work together with the business community to improve domestic production and advance issues of interest to the country, during the organization's 82nd Annual Assembly.
“I would like to raise this request that we can join forces between the public sector and the private sector to move; we have already been doing this with the representatives of the Executive in order to be able to advance on general issues of preference for Venezuelan production in the world,” said Capozzolo.
The union leader stressed that industrial development is the way to generate employment and prosperity. “In industrial development there is the greatest capacity to employ Venezuelans, to create prosperity, the use of the Venezuelan raw material par excellence, which could surely be minerals, oil and gas, and transform them faster,” he said.
Capozzolo reiterated the willingness of the private sector to accompany public sector initiatives to improve public services, especially electricity, and to make production more efficient and competitive.
The president of Fedecamaras also referred to the union's international agenda, which will continue in November. “To tell the world that there is no risk in coming to Venezuela, that it is time to invest in Venezuela and in Venezuelans to generate productive employment. The risk is that they may be late,” he concluded.
