President of Guyana recognized US interference in the conflict over the Essequibo

During the 6th Annual Security Challenges Forum in Latin America, Irfaan Ali, president of Guyana, said that, despite being an ally of the United States (USA), he is peacefully seeking a solution with the Government of President Nicolás Maduro.
Ali, in statements, after his speech, admitted the involvement of the US Government in the dispute over the Essequibo, since, in his opinion, “we have had a tremendous collaboration with the United States.” In this regard, he added, “I want to take a moment to applaud the type of relationship and partnership that we are building.”
Last Wednesday, President Nicolás Maduro denounced the installation of secret U.S. military bases in the Essequibo.
For her part, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, urged the Cooperative Republic of Guyana to resume dialogue, to comply with the Geneva Agreement and with Public International Law, since Venezuela will never give up defending its legitimate rights over the territory of Guyana Essequiba.
President Maduro enacted the Organic Law for the Defense of Guiana Esequiba, last Wednesday, from the Elliptical Hall of the Federal Legislative Palace, seat of the National Assembly (AN).
Recently, 10 million Venezuelans, with votes, supported the Essequibo policy of defense, sovereignty and self-determination, in a clear demonstration of sovereignty and democracy.
