President of Mexico urges Mexico's new ministers not to corrupt themselves

The president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, sent a message to the new ministers of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN), who protested their position on September 1 at night.

During her daily press conference, the president asked the new judges not to corrupt themselves or respond to private interests. “It's a change of era in the Judiciary. It's a very profound, very profound transformation (...)”.

“Its objective is that all those who are part and all those who are part of the Judiciary respond to the people, who do not respond to a particular interest, to a privilege, that they are not corrupted, other than power or money that dominates the Judiciary, but justice,” he said.

Likewise, the president said that she is confident that the new ministers who came to the Court by popular vote will do a better job in the administration of justice.
