President of the AN: Edmundo González recognizes that he is a coward who does not respect signed agreements

The president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, during an interview with a journalist from the news network Telesur, specified that Edmundo González Urrutia is a compulsive liar who failed to comply with each and every one of the points of the agreement with the Venezuelan State for his voluntary departure from the country to Spain.

“The letter of agreement that circulated on social networks signed by former candidate Edmundo González, was published in right-wing media, the same ones that had covered up all the bararities committed by extremists, the same ones that have justified violence against the people of Venezuela and who praise them, those were the only ones who had published this agreement,” said Rodríguez.

He also criticized the flag bearer of the violent extreme right, first of all for hiding in an embassy on July 28 and then for trying to make people believe that the letter and his asylum were the product of coercion when there are witnesses to his desire to leave the country.

Deputy Rodríguez pointed out that the terms of respect for Venezuelan institutions used by González Urrutia are similar in the letters sent to the Supreme Court of Justice, the one received by him from the hands of the former candidate and the one presented by his lawyer to the Public Ministry.

He recalled that the terms respectful of institutionality are coincidental in both, even if the author later comes out to deny his authorship.

González Urrutia is being investigated for his connection to a coup plot based on the publication on a website of false voting records from the elections of July 28, as well as for his ignorance of the official results published by the National Electoral Council, with the intention of generating riots and violence.
