President of the AN shows evidence about meeting with González Urrutia and his flight from the country

The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, presented evidence showing that the far-right and former presidential candidate, Edmundo González Urrutia, signed a document recognizing the decision of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) that validates the electoral victory of President Nicolás Maduro on July 28.

In the same way, he showed photos of a meeting between his person, the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez and González Urrutia. In addition to videos showing that the former candidate left the country quietly.

“Here are the photos of the meeting with him and this is the Spanish plane in the hangar of the Executive Vice Presidency of Simon Bolivar International Airport. In conclusion, I did receive a letter from Mr. González Urrutia who complies with the Supreme Court's resolution and leaves Venezuela voluntarily,” Rodríguez emphasized during a press conference.

This, Rodríguez argues, ends up dismantling the matrix of opinion that the extreme right is politically persecuted.

“The gossip is over, because the truth comes out and we have all the evidence. Thank you Mr. González Urrutia for recognizing the institutionalization that makes up the Venezuelan State,” he said.

Rodríguez stressed that with what was signed.
