President of the CNE denounced the confiscation abroad of an aircraft with electoral equipment

The president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Elvis Amoroso, denounced the confiscation of an aircraft that brought equipment and machines to the country to be used during the presidential election this Sunday, July 28.
During a press conference held this Sunday, Amoroso stated that one of the aircraft was diverted to an African country where it was confiscated. He also indicated that a second aircraft, loaded with supplies for electoral machines, had a series of obstacles and flight restrictions placed on it over the airspace of some countries to prevent its arrival in Venezuela.
“They didn't want the Venezuelan people to have the opportunity to participate with the best electoral system in the world. Today we proudly say, we defeated the maneuvers that those enemy groups of Venezuela that do not want our country. They were defeated again,” he said.
On the other hand, the president of the Electoral Power denied that certain clothing or the use of masks were being required in order to vote. “The only requirement to vote is an identity card, even if it has expired,” he said.
