This Monday, the President of the Republic of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, through the social network X warned that if there is a violent aggression against Venezuela, “what we see in Syria and Iraq will be the reality of the entire Gran Colombian region.”

“Mass murderers will take over territories, driven by greed, and states will weaken as instruments of social peace,” wrote the Colombian head of state.

Within the framework of Bolivarian thinking of unity, Petro added that “that is why in the great Homeland of Bolivar there can only be national sovereignty, neither in Panama, nor in Ecuador, nor in Colombia nor in Venezuela, there should be subservient subjections to foreigners.”

“The region must coordinate, in terms of equality, its anti-drug trafficking policy with foreigners, because this is a problem of humanity, but in terms of equality, not of submission,” he stressed.
