The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, ratified on Monday his commitment to the fight against corruption and the so-called “plugged in”, who represent one of the great enemies of the Fatherland.

During the 61st broadcast of his show Con Maduro+, the Head of State pointed out that “Venezuela has two enemies to overcome”, referring first of all to “the permanent conspiracy of the power factors of the North that want to colonize the country and who bring in assassins, mercenaries, try to divide us (...) The permanent conspiracy to dissolve the Republic, to dissolve the idea of Homeland”.

He stressed that in this task “we have great experience, we also have great accumulated victories, but it is more an external enemy than an internal one”.

He indicated that the other enemy “is more internal than external and sometimes they make symbiosis, which is the enemy of the 'plugged', that's what the right wing has called it for many years, but that concept doesn't belong to them, what is a plug-in? A corrupt person, a degenerate, someone who has taken advantage of the power given to him by the Revolution or the People to benefit personally, to destroy, to betray the People,” he said.

In this regard, he reiterated that he is “committed to the fight against those infiltrators, against those plugged in, against corruption in all its forms, whatever color it may be, wherever it is”, stressing that this is a permanent battle.

“A second great enemy that our country has on its path to prosperity, true democracy and the development of the project of the country power are the plugged in, those who, dressed as a revolution, corrupted counterrevolution and hurt it was the People because in the end they hurt the people and they have disfigured themselves, they have distanced themselves from the grassroots, they have distanced themselves from the people, it is a battle that we have and our generation touches, I am fully aware that I have to fight that battle, fortunately I have a high political military command to accompany me,” he emphasized.
