In order to underpin the development of national quality, contribute to import substitution and promote training and technical training for Venezuelan youth in the textile industry, authorities from the Productive Conglomerate (CPSA), a company attached to the Ministry of Industries and National Production; and the Great Venezuela Youth Mission (GMVJ), visited the companies Creaciones Baby D'Altos and R&N Textil.
In this context, Hector Bravo, president of the CPSA, ratified the willingness to link the companies that belong to the textile sector conglomerate with the National Fashion School, in order to have training spaces to increase product quality. “The objective is to draw up joint strategies for the development of the National Fashion School of the Great Venezuelan Youth Mission.”
These companies, with more than 30 years of experience in the domestic market, are focused on the production of garments for everyday use, school uniforms, institutional uniforms, clothing and baby lingerie.
For his part, Wilmer Vázquez, head of vertex one of the GMVJ, proposed drawing up a joint roadmap with the purpose of underpinning the development of the National Fashion School and promoting the technical training of Venezuelan youth in the textile industry.
In this regard, Rocco Dalto, president of Baby D'Altos textile, said that they are sure “that you can grow in Venezuela and that there is a lot to do for the textile industry.”
It should be noted that both companies have an installed capacity of more than 30,000 garments per month, and they have their own weaving equipment with which they self-supply their need for fabrics, in relation to jersey, piqué and rib, generating approximately 140 direct jobs and more than 200 indirect jobs.
These actions are based on the policies promoted by President Nicolás Maduro, and promoted by the Minister of Industries and National Production, Alex Saab, as part of Q1, the Economic Transformation, with the purpose of strengthening domestic production and the economic development of the nation.
